About Felix
Hi, I’m Habiba. I built Felix after burning out on my first two startups.
I’d left a career at Morgan Stanley to pursue a dream of becoming a founder. I knew how much I wanted it. What was less clear was how to get there: how to turn an ambition that big into a series of decisions, weeks, and days that would actually move me forward.
There was always more I could be doing. And alongside building a business, I had other goals, relationships, and a life I wanted to take care of. With all of it competing for space in my head, I found myself working long hours without feeling confident that I was spending them well.
That uncertainty followed me to the end of each day. I’d worked hard, but had I accomplished enough? Could I stop, or should I do one more thing? Guilt pushed me to work more, until I was too burnt out to sustain the effort.
I tried productivity tools, but keeping them useful became a job of its own. They could hold my tasks; I still had to figure out the path, decide what mattered, and rearrange everything when life changed. I wanted something that could help me carry that mental load.
That’s where Felix began.
You tell Felix what you’re working toward and what else is happening in your life. It helps turn those goals into concrete steps and a realistic plan for your week, around the commitments you already have. As things change, it helps you adjust, so you don’t have to keep rebuilding the plan yourself.
For me, the point was being able to finish a day knowing I’d moved something important forward, and feel comfortable stopping. I wanted to keep pursuing my ambitions with enough energy left to enjoy the life I was building.
Whatever you’re working toward, I hope Felix helps you feel that way too. You can read how Felix works or sign up and get started.
I’m building Felix on my own, and conversations with the people using it shape what it becomes. If you have a question, an idea, or something you wish it did better, email me at hello@letfelix.com (it really is me reading it!!).
